These materials have been designed and tested to run on perfect binders. Each material was created for ease-of-use in the bindery. We have master rolls in stock that can either be delivered "as is" or slit to size and shipped in just days.

70/110Z
This ungummed crepe paper has the greatest strength and elongation of any stretch paper in the industry. This feature helps create a beautiful well-rounded back, helps eliminate splitting, and reinforces the spine from head to tail. It's easy to run and creates a strong bond to the book block with cold glue or hot melt adhesive. Extend the material 5/8" onto the sides of your book block for greatest exposure.

70/110G
An LBS exclusive, this unique crepe paper is gummed to strengthen the attachment to the endsheet without additional steps. Moisture from the water-based casing-in adhesive activates the gummed coating through the endpaper, creating a strong bond between the book block and the endsheet. Extend the material 5/8" onto the sides of your book block for greatest exposure.

GS 5L
This versatile material does the job of both super and capping paper while reinforcing the book block from head to tail. The material is produced by laminating a super-like cloth to crepe paper.  Combining these two products eliminates a material and a workstation. Also, the crepe allows the spine to be rounded and backed after application. This material has been patented by our partner-company, Dr. Günther Kast GmbH & Co.

Cambric
Cambric adds strength and stability when reinforcing the spine of the book block without adding bulk in the hinge area. This is especially useful for narrow, flat back books. LBS Cambric is double backfilled to eliminate adhesive squeeze-through.

60# White Crepe Kraft
An excellent choice when applied on your perfect binder as a backlining material. Also, because it is white it will not show through lightweight endpapers.
