Because we manufacture and stock the nation’s largest inventory of endsheets, printed covers, reinforcing materials and a wide variety of cover materials, you will receive your materials within days, often hours, of ordering.
Our Customers
LBS produces and ships both large and small orders because we work with binderies, publishers, and book manufacturers of various sizes. We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of our diverse customer base. On any given day, we may be shipping 300,000 endsheets to a library binder in England, 25,000 pieces of cut book cloth to an East Coast book manufacturer and 2,000 yards of reinforcing materials to an edition binder in California.
Turn-around Time
As both a manufacturer of our own materials, as well as a distributor of materials produced by carefully selected vendors, we understand the importance of having material on our floor to meet your needs. That is why most everything you order from LBS comes from inventory on our floor. We believe that this is the only way to maintain the service and quick turn time that binders require.
Testing
While LBS has already done extensive testing to ensure that our cover materials are stampable and glueable, that our endsheets perform as expected and that our reinforcing materials feed, cut and adhere to your book block and endsheets, often the best way to know a material is going to work with your equipment is by trying it for yourself. We offer free samples of cover material and endsheets for testing on your equipment. Complimentary rolls of reinforcing materials are also available for testing purposes.
