M-12 Release Cote
M-12 Release Cote is designed to act as a shield against adhesive build-up. When applied to glue pots or tanks, the surface will repel the adhesive, making clean up a breeze. A thin film of Release Cote is all it takes to prevent build-up on virtually any industrial surface. Release Cote is extremely easy to use: simply apply the product with a rag or brush. Release Cote works on much more than glue and adhesives; it will repel a wide range of coatings, plastics, inks, paints, varnishes and much more. Release Cote may be applied to spray booth walls, tanks, ink fountains, machinery or virtually any exposed surface where build up can occur.

2194 Animal Glue
2194 will bond many types of recycled and non-recycled paper stocks. For water to evaporate, one of the substrates must be porous. All ingredients in 2194 are approved under Federal Regulation 21 CFR 175.105, which relates to incidental contact of adhesives with food.

Bind-On-Demand
The Bind-On-Demand endsheet was designed by and is exclusively available through LBS. It eliminates the need for feeding and removing a false cover on your perfect binder. The fabric reinforcing material strengthens the spine of the book through the hinge onto the cover board-making a stronger book.
The reinforcing fabric is unseen to the consumer, providing a traditional trade book folded endsheet appearance.
Since this style endsheet only provides for the paste-down, it gives you the option to use the first and last page of the book block as the flyleaf or insert a printed or colored flyleaf of your choice. |

Foam Board
LBS Foam Board is ideal for applications where a padded cover is desired. It adds a soft touch to your books or luxury packages. Available in custom sizes and calipers with or without a top paper liner. LBS’ Foam Board is perfect for children’s books, photo albums, religious publications, diploma covers, diaries, menus, looseleaf products, rigid box, and custom packaging.
An optional paper liner is available for ease of manufacturing on automated feeding equipment. Some other terms for this product include: Lined Foam Board, Unlined Foam Board, Padded Board, or Foam Padded Board.

Lexide
Heavyweight Lexide cover material is a luxurious replacement for leather board. It is manufactured with a proprietary process that enhances its end-use performance as a heavyweight cover material. Lexide is an exceptionally smooth product that features unparalleled strength and fold endurance while resisting tearing and cracking. As a bookbinding material, it is perfect for menu covers, wine lists, and many other flush-cut applications. As a luxury packaging material, it can be used for rigid boxes or spirits packaging. Lexide decorates beautifully with foil stamping, debossing, and screen printing.
BACK COAT OPTIONS:
Back Coat 2 - a pigmented aqueous acrylic coating that closely matches the face color. This is a semi-matte coating designed to be glueable but test prior to manufacturing for best results. Standard except where noted.
Back Coat 3 - a pigmented aqueous acrylic coating with a clear top coating which will match the color and appearance of the face. This is a durable coating that is dirt and water resistant and resistant to crocking. It is difficult to glue, and special adhesives must be used.
Back Coat 4 - the same coating as Back Coat 2 but it includes a dulling agent.
